Clocks are objects that do not belong to a particular file, they are known internally to 3DTop only. It has the following popup-menu items:

- Grab this.
A little robot will attach itself to the object. This way you can select(grab) several object at the same time and do things on all of them at the same time.

- Set offset.
To create a clock that belongs to a different part of the globe you can give it an offset of any number of hours ahead or back.
You'll notice that the mouse-pointer changes its shape into a left/right arrow, this means that by moving the mouse left or right you change the offset of the clock in hours back(left) or ahead(right). When you are content with the offset you've chosen, press the left-mouse-button once and the offset is set. If you would like to cancel the whole operation press the right mouse-button once.

- Set Alarm.
Each clock can have one alarm-time set with this function. Any offset you have set will be used, so you can set an alarm to go off at a particular time belonging to the other end of the globe.
When you choose this menu-item you'll see another clock on your screen. With this you can set the alarm-time by dragging the minute- or hour-arm to the time of your choice. If you drag the hours, the alarm-time will actually increment or decrement in 5 minute steps, if you drag the minutes, the alarm-time will increment or decrement in 1 minute steps. You'll notice that the mouse-pointer changes to a left/right arrow again indicating that you should move the mouse left to decrement the time and to the right to increment the alarm-time.
When you're done setting the alarm-time right-click on the alarm-time-clock and you'll see two menu-items to choose from:
1. Activate simple sound alarm. This will play a simple 1 kHz tone when the alarm goes off. Sounds a bit like your computer having a major crash.
2. Activate and choose a file to be opened upon alarm. If you select this you can select a file that will be opened upon alarm, this action does the same as when you double-click an icon on your desktop. This way you can activate anything you like, sound-files, animations etc.. In this case "open" means performing the default action also.

- Spinning.
Each clock can spin around it's rotation axis by choosing this function. You'll notice that the mouse-pointer changes its shape into a left/right arrow, this means that by moving the mouse left or right you change the speed of spinning. When you are content with the speed you've chosen, press the left-mouse-button once and the icons keeps spinning with this speed. If you would like to cancel the whole operation press the right mouse-button once.

- Imploding.
Works the same as spinning but makes the icon Shrink&Grow automatically. This function makes use of the same code as Spinning, so you can either have an icon Spinning or Imploding, but not both at the same time.

- "Un"moveable.
When you select this, the object can not be moved anymore by clicking on it with the left mouse-button and dragging the object. All other functions remain working, so you can actually still move the object by grabbing it and moving the robot, hence the "Un".

- Hide name.
Checking this will hide the name.

- Rename.
This will popup a small window that enables you to change the name of the clock. If you're done with typing in the new name and you are content with the result press "Return" or "Enter" on your keyboard. If you would like to cancel the whole operation press "Esc" on your keyboard once.

- Delete.
This will delete the clock from 3DTop. No warning will be displayed.
